MY begInning in all things crochet
Hi I'm Bethany!
My grandma taught me to crochet when I was 10 and I have been doing it ever since. When I moved to Lake Tahoe in 2007, I needed garments to keep my family and myself warm in the winter months. Originally being from Southern California, we never really needed what you would call "warm clothes". Scarves and hats in Southern California were mostly a fashion garment rather than for actual warmth and comfort.
Friends and others around town would always comment on my beanies, scarves, etc. and then began to ask if I could make them something too. I love to crochet. It has always been relaxing for me and way to be creative. There is nothing better than being up early in the morning before the kids wake up and sit on the couch on a cold morning with my tea and crochet, pure heaven!
It is a great feeling to see people wear my garments and to know that people all over are really purchasing my items and love them.
I decided to create this site to list my items I have for sale and to showcase my passion for crochet. Small Businesses, Local, Handmade is what brings me joy. I get to support a lot of this in my crochet. Crochet brings me so much joy and seeing others have the same joy wearing my items is why I do this. I am so happy you have found my site and I look forward to creating something for you in the future or hearing any feedback about how I can better my site for you.
